Kamile Lukrecija Lukosiute
Kamile Lukrecija Lukosiute is brave, provocative, and unafraid to be different, with fans often referring to her as a modern witch. Beneath the mask of an "evil woman," she is a justice seeker who reveals everyday matters as if viewed behind a screen. Her paintings hit with raw truth, undeterred by indignant stares.
Known as KLL, she enthralled "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner and was appreciated by "San Francisco" witch Rose McGowan. KLL joined the fresh project "Daisie," initiated by "Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams, a community fostering meaningful connections and representing a new wave of creative talents.
“Being a woman is art. I grew up in a family surrounded by strong women and am proud to become one of them. You will never find me in the kitchen, daydreaming about a future wedding or how many kids I'd like to have. You will find me working till 4 AM, being my own boss, pushing myself forward, hitting the gym in the evening, being a woman that men (to be honest) are scared of. And it is absolutely not what I'm seeking; the only thing I want is to be accepted whatever my choices are like... and I don't want to hear a man or a lady saying to me again, 'YOU WOULDN'T COOK FOR YOUR MAN?? OH No... it is the thing you can mention only after the wedding.' Every woman deserves to be the hell she wants to be without being judged.”
An intriguing Lithuanian painter, Kamile has showcased her work in both her homeland and the United States, garnering admiration from notable figures such as Rose McGowan, Taylor Lautner, Maisie Williams, and Emma Roberts. Her artistic style spans from abstract to modern, incorporating elements of pop art, self-photography, and one-eyed portraits.
With a penchant for sarcasm and a desire to provoke viewers, Kamile's pieces often challenge traditional norms and grab attention with their unconventional approach. Through a fusion of existential thoughts, street art details, and pop culture influences, she creates a unique aesthetic that engages viewers in explorations of art and society, leaving a lasting impression with her imaginative plays on colour and reference to modern icons.
