Description: ‘Xray of a Woman’ is an intimate exploration of the layers and complexities that define us as women. To me, it resembles a side-view x-ray of the female form, revealing not just the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual intricacies that make us who we are. The crackling texture in the background speaks to the fragile moments we all experience—the times when life feels delicate and uncertain. I created this texture using my own handmade paste, adding a deeply personal touch to the piece. The interplay of alcohol ink and acrylic paint brings depth and movement, reflecting both strength and vulnerability. This painting is a celebration of the multifaceted nature of women. It’s about embracing the beauty in our layers—our complexities, our fragility, and our resilience. Each line and texture invites the viewer to look beyond the surface and reflect on the stories that shape us. ‘Xray of a Woman’ is part of my broader exploration of the human form, where I seek to blend abstraction with emotion. My work often delves into themes of identity, transformation, and the untold stories that connect us all. This piece is smaller in scale, but its impact is anything but subtle—it’s designed to draw the viewer in and spark introspection. At 300 x 600 mm, this artwork is perfect for intimate spaces or as part of a curated collection. It’s a piece that invites conversation and connection while offering a striking yet contemplative presence.
